Participants can complete the Popular Virtual 5K anytime, anywhere through August 16th, 2020. Additionally, participants will log their walk/run using a tracking device of their choice. Once completed, they will upload a screen grab documenting their virtual race results. As part of this special event, Popular will send the first 1,500 race participants commemorative medals and bandanas via mail. Additionally, each participant will automatically enter a sweepstakes to win a Popular Gift Card worth $250, $500, or $1,000.

This is the 16th year for the Popular 5K, and the first time the race will be exclusively hosted virtually due to the COVID-19 health crisis. While this year’s race looks different from year’s past, the Popular 5K remains committed to our communities. Since its inception, the race has inspired thousands of runners and donate more than $750,000 to local and non-profit organizations.
