Popular Bank Expands Private Banking Team in South Florida

(Nasdaq: BPOP), announced today the appointment of several new team members to Popular Private Client, the exclusive private banking unit franchise of its Wealth Management and Private Banking Division. Charles K. Miller, Michael Costa, Julia Nurques and Luciana Faria all recently joined Popular Private Client and are based out of Miami, Florida.

In his new role at Popular Bank, Charles will serve as Manager Head of Popular Private Client – Florida Region and lead the day-to-day function of the business and entire team within the State. “With over 32 years of banking experience and through active involvement in several philanthropic and charitable initiatives throughout South Florida, Charles brings immeasurable experience and market knowledge to our growing business and he along with Julia, Michael, Luciana and our existing colleagues, are well-positioned to establish Popular Private Client as the preeminent private banking program within the region,” said Joshua Harkey, National Manager Head of Popular Private Client.
Initially launched in June 2017, Popular Private Client has grown to nearly $400 million in assets under management in both deposits and investments (as of September 30, 2018).
